2000 Nissan Maxima
The 2000 Maxima's most distinctive style is from the rear where round red taillights
inset in a triangular perimeter stand out from a gracefully sculpted tail. SE
models feature a blacked out tail lenses for a sportier look. Other stand out
features includes prominent wheel arches and fender flares, a prominent grille,
and new-shape headlamps.
The 2000 Maxima is bigger, more powerful, more refined, and less expensive than
the previous Maxima. This 2000 model has a V6 engine that puts out 222 horsepower,
its rigid new chassis comes with a sports suspension, four-wheel disc brakes and
high-performance tires, and a five-speed manual gearbox. Sporty new styling replaces
the bland sheet metal of the previous models. This new Maxima has roomier front
seats and a bigger trunk than the Accord and Camry.
