1998 Nissan Maxima
The 1998 Maxima is the first Nissan vehicle to offer front seat side-impact air
bags in the U.S. market. This option is available as part of the optional Deluxe
Seating package available on the SE and GLE models. Standard features include
power windows, door locks and side mirrors.
Cruise control, air conditioning and AM/FM stereo with cassette are also standard.
Powered by a silky-smooth 190 horsepower V-6, the Maxima is Nissan's flagship
model. Unlike most other family sedans, Maxima is offered with a 5-speed manual
transmission. It's also very reliable. The interior is pleasing and the top-of-the-line
models are loaded with amenities.
There's an excellent stereo, leather seats, cruise control, climate control air
conditioning and much more in the '98 Nissan Maxima. Dual airbags and ABS are
standard. Eight exterior colors are available including Neptune Blue, Sage Mist
Green, Rosewood, Pebble Beige Metallic, Deep Evergreen, Super Black, Arctic White
Pearl and a new color, Sterling Mist.
Options available on the Maxima include a power sunroof, the Security and Convenience
package (GXE and SE), the Deluxe Seating package (SE and GLE) and the Leather
Trim package (SE).
